Dementia affects whole families – and local carers need support too. Bouncing Back offers essential respite time for carers while their loved ones take part in group activities like singing, pool or games. This gives carers a much-needed break and a chance to recharge.
Carers also benefit from peer support at the group, sharing advice, experiences, and encouragement with others who truly understand the journey.
If you think you, or a friend or relative, has dementia, read our ‘What to do‘ page and do get in touch with us. Many people live well with dementia, and there is a lot of support out there. You are definitely not on your own. So reach out and you will be pleasantly surprised at the help that’s available.
